I can't even begin to tell you how much I love a vineyard. It doesn't matter if I am in the sunny UK or somewhere abroad there is no other feeling like walking through the fields, seeing the grapes grow then most importantly speaking to the owners and tasting what they are most passionate about in life. Below are some of the vineyards that I have visited.
This is a fantastic UK Vineyard in Staffordshire with a range of things to do when you get there.
On top of the full vineyard experience; wine tasting, deli shop, craft centre, zoo there is now a small garden section selling a range of plants and make sure you visit the restaurant as it is fantastic.
There seems to be something planned here on a regular basis with Gin tasting and other such events, I can definitely recommend a visit. Click the picture to take you to their page.
Vines rustle here instead of oak leaves and the whole of the grounds are stunning. This is well worth a visit.
The Vineyard Brasserie is nothing short of excellent too
